Pricing Structure

 

We have a combination of 2 bed apartments, 4 bed & 5 bed houses for rent. In a four or five bed house, the rent for a single room with separate bathroom is €72.50 per week, and rent for a single en-suite room is €83.00 per week. Our 2 bedroom apartments with en-suite bathrooms are €88.00 per week. Based on a 38 week academic year this works at a per semester cost of €1,375, €1,575 and €1,675 respectively. Semester 1 rental commences 28^th August 2011 terminating on 9^th January 2012 with semester 2 commencing 10^th January 2012 and terminating on 20^th May 2012.

 

Electricity & Utilities

 

An academic year deposit of €275 is required to cover electricity/gas usage. The ESB/Gas meters are read twice per semester to monitor each individual house. At the commencement and end of each academic year the meters are read and the usage is calculated. Any under usage will be refunded, but all over usage will be subject to a deduction from deposits.

 

A utility usage charge of €275 for the academic year is also required to cover such costs as security, refuse collection, multi channel T.V. connection, broadband connection, bus service and maintenance.

 

Deposit

 

A mandatory booking deposit of €250 is required, payable by cash/bank draft/postal order or cheque. The deposit is fully refundable at the end of the academic year pending both a satisfactory house inspection and electricity/gas usage audit.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

All cancellations up to 4pm on the day following the release of first round offers will be subject to an administration fee of €50.

Any cancellations AFTER this time will be subject to the forfeiture of the entire deposit and the reallocation of the room to the next eligible student.

 

Bus Service

 

A regular shuttle bus service is in operation to and from the University of Limerick from the Courtyard Student Complex.

The days and times of operation are as follows:- Monday to Thursday 08.15 to 10.15, 12.45 to 14.15 and 16.15 to 18.15.

Fridays 08.15 to 10.15 and 12.45 to 16.30.

There is also a regular Nite-Link Service on Monday to Thursday commencing at 19.00 and terminating at 23.30. This service runs every 45 minutes.
